Luis de la Fuente

Luis de la Fuente Castillo, Spain’s National Football Coach and a native of Haro (La Rioja), is one of the most respected coaches in Spanish football. After his professional playing career in La Liga clubs, he began coaching youth teams at the Royal Spanish Football Federation in 2013. With the youth national teams, he won titles such as the UEFA Under-19 and Under-21 European Championships, as well as a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. In 2022, he took charge of the senior national team, winning the 2023 Nations League and the 2024 European Championship, and extended his contract through 2028. In the 2024 edition of the Arnedo Cup, he supported the event, sharing his experience, enthusiasm, and admiration for grassroots football and young players.
